ELECTRICAL ENGINEER — Raleigh, NC

Licensed engineer with facility design experience to work on large corporate, commercial, and high tech projects. 5-10 years experience in laboratory or data center projects preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft® Word and Excel necessary. Proficiency in AutoCAD™ or Microstation™ desirable. Responsibilities include site investigations, client meetings, developing electrical single line drawings, coordinating electrical design activities, and preparing specifications and calculations.

Structural: The structural discipline provides structural engineering services in concert with, and in support of, the firm’s focus on comprehensive A/E/I/P services. We seek individuals with knowledge of all the tools available to the structural engineer that may be used in developing the structural solution, such as: materials, computer systems, structural systems, and any issues that relate to the analysis, design, and construction of a building structure. Such diversified expertise continually improves the department and helps us expand the science and art of engineering for architectural structures.

HVAC / Electrical / Plumbing / Process Piping / Fire Protection / Security /
Telecommunications / Project Controls: We offer facility design engineers and CAD designers exciting opportunities to participate in some of the most sophisticated and challenging design and engineering projects in the world today. Areas of particular interest include energy conservation, laboratory design, information technology and computer facilities, security hardening, and CFD modeling. Our Project Controls specialists emphasize scheduling and workflow optimization and monitor and report all projects.

Site/Civil: KlingStubbins site and civil engineers participate in the firm’s overall
architectural/engineering/ planning design while contributing to the site group leadership as well as delivery in our strategic planning and facility/site design and implementation. We look for commercial site experience and a solid understanding of site design, project implementation and remediation, planning/zoning processes, regulations, and boards.
