In Campbell’s ongoing efforts to represent innovation, progression, and a stimulation of local economic growth, the company plans to construct a modern, ecologically-friendly structure to house employee services and act as the new “front door” to the corporate campus. An open area, reception / exhibition hall occupies the double-height linear atrium enclosed by a clear glass curtain wall. Supergraphics reflecting Campbell’s numerous brands project through the glass wall to welcome employees and visitors while reinforcing the rich company history. The glass curtain wall allows natural light to filter through office and work spaces that occupy upper and lower levels. Beyond the clear glass on the north façade, brick is the primary exterior material, interrupted by colored glass panels that project colored sunlight into the interior. The central location of the Employee Services Building creates an opportunity to unify the current campus by physically connecting to the other major buildings and by creating a landscaped courtyard as a shared amenity.
