On the outskirts of Moscow, a development known as Crocus City, a shopping, exhibition, and entertainment complex, is revolutionizing the city’s commerce. Contributing to this transformation is The Veneto, a 22-level casino, retail mall, cinema, dining, and luxury hotel venue, mimicking elements of The Venetian in Las Vegas. Crocus Expo III, another element of the design, is a 3,000,000 SF addition to the Crocus Convention Center. In addition to exhibit halls, a ballroom, and meeting rooms, the program includes a sub-divisible 3,000 seat auditorium, two food courts, underground parking for 1,700 cars and a pedestrian access to a future subway stop. Also included in the design is the 1,000,000 SF Crocus Tower, which will be the first high-rise in a district planned for multiple high-rises overlooking the Moscow River. It comprises 38 floors of class-A office space above a two-story retail development with two floors of underground valet parking.
