Located directly across from City Hall in Center City, Philadelphia, this design for a new high-rise office building would impart a classic and yet original presence to the city’s skyline. Designed to replace a skyscraper lost to fire in 1991, the new 70-story building would rise higher than its predecessor, but would not detract from the presence of its neighbors. In fact, the building would both complement and enhance the surrounding class-A office spaces. The skin of the building, as envisioned, is stone and reflective glass.
