Emerson College’s 14-story residence hall and campus center is located on Boston Common at 150 Boylston Street. The facility is the first entirely new residence hall in Emerson’s 124-year history. The facility is comprised of residential suites, athletic facilities, offices and meeting rooms for student organizations, informal gathering places for off-campus students, rooms for small-group rehearsals and performances, dining facilities, and offices for the Dean of Students and his staff. The building includes two floors below grade. An NCAA tournament-sized basketball court (complete with special “sky boxes”) is located on the lowest level along with athletic offices and locker facilities. A new campus center is located on the first level below grade, with portions on the ground and second floors. Residential suites housing approximately 600 students occupy the third through the 14th floors.
