AstraZeneca’s new Federal Government Affairs Office supports all of the company’s lobbying activities in Washington, DC. Reception spaces are generously proportioned for after-hours events and are designed to flow into the adjacent boardroom for larger-scale activities. An entrance with expansive clear glass panels establishes AstraZeneca’s location on the multi-tenant floor. Higher-end finishes and furniture were concentrated in public areas, whereas pre-existing corporate standards were used in work areas. Despite the fact that the building perimeter is lined with offices, daylight enters the corridors through glass-walled office fronts.
