Boston-based marketing consulting firm Digitas focuses on customer relationship strategy, providing clients with integrated strategies, technology, and creativity through collaboration, idea generation, and problem solving. Client-focused spaces including the lobby and presentation rooms were designed to impress current and potential clients with a ‘buzz’ of creative design expression and with state-of-the-art multi media technology. Efficient, functional, and fun are the main themes for these new offices. By design, the plan of the Digitas workspace provides equal quality-of-life amenities to all employees. Open workstations are located along the exterior window walls, while private offices and corridors were planned to allow natural daylight to reach the glass office fronts of all internal private offices. Shared meeting rooms are grouped at the middle immediately adjacent to the elevators creating a center of energy and activity. Each floor is based on a universal plan that provides a framework for standardization between floors.
