A former 1960’s manufacturing and warehouse facility is the new home to Polaroid World. The site circulation was rerouted from the original site entrance to the new renovated lobby as well as the addition of landscaping and signage. These changes improved wayfinding and parking efficiency as well as identified Polaroid World to the adjacent roads. The lobby space entails a retail laboratory, product demonstration room, and meeting rooms. The lobby uses the successful features of the warehouse space highlighted by a modern stair, glass entrance, paving stone, and aluminum wall panels. Part of the renovation included converting manufacturing and warehouse space to offices and meeting spaces for 91 employees. An open and flowing plan was achieved with bright colors and state-of-the-art lighting to mitigate glare. Now Polaroid World clearly communicates the Polaroid brand through the use of color and materials.
