This center consolidates CSX’s two Philadelphia data and operations sites currently housed at their Center City, Philadelphia, and King of Prussia, PA, locations. The Tier IV facility allows for several years of hardware growth. Designated areas within the site and building configuration permit anticipated facility expansion of mechanical and electrical support areas and parking. Included are a 40,000 SF raised-floor computer room and a 20,000 SF raised-floor office space. The site design incorporates anti-terrorism / force protection features including parking outside of a secure perimeter, berming around the entire data center, true A and B data center spaces and setbacks.
